FC Magpies will be attending the UEFA Europa Conference League First Qualifying Round draw, which is set to take place on June 17th and 18th. After wining last seasons Rock Cup, the team earned their place among Europe’s elite in UEFA’s third-tier competition, continuing to establish themselves as regular continental participants.

Despite a solid coefficient from recent seasons, the Magpies narrowly missed out on being among the seeded teams for this round. The club now faces the prospect of a challenging draw, with all potential opponents bringing their own pedigree and ambition.

“Experience tells us that no game in this competition is easy,” said coach Terrence Jolley. “There are quality sides in every pot, and we know we’ll have to be at our best from the very first whistle.”

The draw will also mark the first European test for the newly revamped Magpies squad, which has undergone a youthful transition during the off-season. The club has invested in promising talent blended with experienced players, with a focus on dynamic, high-energy football and a long-term vision of development and success domestically.

“The Conference League is the perfect stage for our young players to show what they can do,” added the coach. “It’s an exciting challenge, and we’re looking forward to it.”
