FC MAGPIES ANTI-RACISM CHARTER
1. Preamble
FC Magpies stands firmly against racism, discrimination, and intolerance in all forms. We believe football must be a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for players, staff, supporters, partners, and the wider community. This Charter sets out our commitments, principles, and actions to actively combat racism and promote equality.
2. Core Principles
• Equality: Every individual deserves dignity and respect regardless of race, ethnicity, nationality, or cultural background.
• Zero Tolerance: Racist language, behavior, or symbolism will not be accepted under any circumstances.
• Accountability: All members of the club community share responsibility for upholding these standards.
• Education: Awareness and learning are essential to eliminating prejudice.
• Solidarity: We stand with those affected by racism and discrimination.
3. Commitments
The club pledges to:
• Enforce strict disciplinary measures against any racist conduct.
• Provide regular anti-racism and diversity training for players, staff, and volunteers.
• Promote inclusive recruitment and equal opportunity practices.
• Support campaigns and partnerships that advance racial equality in sport and society.
• Ensure reporting mechanisms are safe, confidential, and accessible.
4. Matchday and Event Standards
• Racist chanting, gestures, or displays will result in immediate removal and potential bans.
• Stadium announcements and signage will reinforce anti-racism messaging.
• Stewards and officials will be trained to identify and respond swiftly to incidents.
5. Reporting and Enforcement
• All allegations will be investigated promptly and fairly.
• Disciplinary action may include warnings, suspensions, expulsions, or bans.
• Where appropriate, cases will be referred to governing bodies or legal authorities.
6. Community Engagement
• The club will host outreach programs promoting inclusion and cultural understanding.
• Youth teams will receive education on respect, diversity, and fair play.
• The club will collaborate with schools, community groups, and organizations to combat discrimination.
7. Review and Transparency
